2. Comminuted extracapsular fracture of the left hip in a 69-year-old female.
Treatment: Nailing with a proximal femoral nail
I. Before surgery II. Post-surgery, x-ray showing the proximal part of the nail and the reduction of the fracture III. Post-surgery, x ray showing the distal part of the nail
3. Intra-articular fracture of the left distal tibia associated with lateral malleolar fracture in a 33-year-old female.
Treatment: 1st step, external fixation. 2nd step, after 14 days removal external fixation and at the same time open reduction internal fixation (ORIF)
